submitted by Shayla P. - |Recommended: YesThe property is beautiful with a convenient location. — I really like living at Alpine Village. It is conveniently close to the BYU campus. I walk or ride my bike every day. I came to Alpine Village not knowing anyone. I love my roommates! The ward is great! All around a great experience.
response from property -Thank you Shayla! We aim to create good experiences for our residents. I'm glad to hear the wards have successfully done that for you as well!
submitted by Natessa H. - |Recommended: YesNice place to live — This place is a good place to live and I like it. There are sometimes when people are in the hot tub at nights you can hear them.
response from property -Awesome feedback Natessa! The hot tub has definitely been a popular attraction at Alpine since we opened it this year. We do have apartments that are East-facing so the courtyard noise doesn't affect you so much!
submitted by Mayra R. - |Recommended: NoBest place ever — it s comfortable and fun
response from property -We think it's the best place too Mayra! Thank you for sharing.

Seriously a great environment and awesome apartments. The wards are also amazing! I would suggest anyone to live here. And to top it all off the management is awesome!!

The apartments and amenities are comfortable. Maintenance is timely and quick. The req room is nice, the gym is small but adequate. You could do a lot worse. There are some small annoyances: the elevator is slow and unreliable, and parking is aggressively enforced by the ruthless University Parking Enforcement. In fact, that would be the one thing I would suggest to really consider. Past midnight, parking becomes very hard to find, and if you park in the retail spaces outside of the hours of 12 am and 7 am, you will be promptly booted. This is 65 dollars to remove. Other than that, Alpine is one of the posher apartment complexes in provo and the price isn t too bad. Definitly consider it.
response from property -Awesome insight Bennett! Though we do have one of the largest parking lots in Provo, we're still limited which is partly why parking is enforced so strictly. You'll be happy to know, the elevators are actually being worked on today to improve functionality! Thanks for your comments!
submitted by Alex H. - |Recommended: YesPoor parking set-up, but great apartments. Awesome Amenities — Almost not worth living here with how poorly the parking is set up. REQUIRE assigned parking. The current way you do things is absolutely ridiculous. There isn t enough parking for residents. You over-sell parking passes, and everything is filled up by a certain time of night. You used to be able to park at Taco Bell without having a problem, now that has changed and you almost just have to risk a boot to park out front in retail. Fix parking, and Alpine Village would be THAT much better.
response from property -Thank you Alex! We appreciate any suggestions on how to improve our service to our residents. Unfortunately our complex does not have the capacity to hold 100% of residents in our parking lots, and this year we have experienced an increase in demand for parking stalls! Parking stickers have not oversold, but we definitely recommend utilizing the north, east, and south above-ground parking lots as those are also designated for current resident parking!

The people are nice too, accept for the management office staff. They disrespect people that live here. The staff doesn t listen to people that live here, I hear they only want money. That was disappointing... I wish me and other people here were treated better.
response from property -Thanks Alyssa! I'm sorry to hear you have had less than an excellent experience at Alpine Village. Please stop by the office and let us know how we can better serve you!
submitted by Cheney P. - |Recommended: NoAlpine can do a little better — Alpine Village has some nice things. A pool, basketball court, clubhouse, a hot tub finally, underground parking, and maintanence is pretty good at being on top of things. The pricing seems a little high though. Utilities kills me. It s always $50 . A flat rate like $35, maybe $40 would seem a bit more on the fair side. There is problems with parking, I know there was a lot of issues with the new parking rules. Some times there s been problems with online billing. Like I said, while there are def some good things about Alpine, just feels like its still a bit overpriced, especially for how small our private rooms are. Not much incentive to really resign for a third year. There s def. other places that have bigger apartments with a good amount of perks, and $60-$100 cheaper. It d be nicer if it were a little bit affordable.
response from property -We appreciate your suggestions! We're always looking to make our resident's experience more enjoyable and comfortable. We agree that the complex has some AWESOME amenities to provide residents along with the convenience of being within a 10 minute walk to campus! Utilities are charged to each resident per usage each month. The office staff are happy to go over tips on how to decrease gas and electric bills if you'd like to stop by!
submitted by Michael H. - |Recommended: NoNice property, but small rooms for what your paying! — This is a nice place if money isn t an issue. The people are pretty nice but sometimes I feel the rent and utility bill is unfair. There are a lot of places which have more room for around $300 a month. A lot better then $500 a month (the average price for an 8 month contract at Alpine with utilities) if you ask me.
response from property -Thank you Michael! Utilities are charged per resident based on the apartment's use each month. The office staff are more than happy to provide you with an itemized statement of utility use each month if you'd like to stop by the office!
submitted by Taylor D. - |Recommended: YesAmazing when it opened, Needs update — The only reason I stay is because its a hassle to move. The need to go back to the old ways of parking, and not change rules before telling residents. The rent need to stay the same if you renew your lease and you should not have to renew your lease during a time period it should just be before your lease ends. We pay a lot here, Alpine should expedite shipping for parts when things break like the elevator, Its been broken for 2 weeks. The couches suck and the BBQ s are broken most of the time and don t heat up. The office only seems to really help you if you complain a lot of you know someone who works there, and if your car gets broken into the office tells you we will looks into it or your out of luck, but looking into it means not going to happen because that takes too much work. What is the point of all those cameras down there. Im my closing Id just like to say lets update our amenities and get some better customer service.
response from property -I appreciate your opinion! We actually are giving residents an offer to renew at their same price this year! We only extend that offer for a limited time because there are other interested renters who are already signing leases for the upcoming semesters! We give our current residents the opportunity to renew first with priority but are only able to do so for a short time. So if you love living here, we're more than happy to send you a lease! We've been actively working on getting the elevator fixed for your convenience. Unfortunately the nature of the repair needed involves extensive maintenance service which could take several days. We appreciate your patience as we resolve this issue as soon as possible! We have new couches available and are happy to replace them per your request! Work orders are available through your online account. Once that is submitted, maintenance has permission to enter your apartment and replace your couches! The parking garage cameras do not guarantee security unfortunately, but are useful in the case that a car is broken into as additional documentation. In the move-in folder we provide each resident, we list some safety guidelines specifically for the parking garage! Making sure you're locking your car and not storing valuable items (especially visibly) in the car are ways to ensure safety of personal possessions. In any case, break-ins should be directed to the police department. Our complex is fortunate to have cameras to provide them with necessary documentation after an individual has submitted a report. We've added a new hot tub to our amenities this year and will continue to add and upgrade our amenities in the future! Thank you for your suggestions!

submitted by Marcelo M. - |Recommended: YesIts a great place to live. — Its a place that you get what you pay for and the wards are great.
submitted by Stephen M. - |Recommended: YesGreat place, just fix the parking situation. — Good experience if you have good roomates. Parking is kinda difficult depending on your time schedule.
response from property -Thank you for your input! We had a really high demand for parking spaces this year. Our lots are able to hold up to 87% of current residents and just about all of those spaces have been filled this year which is unlike past years! We'll be looking into doing reserved parking next year for an additional cost for those who are interested!
